About The Position

Object First, now an independent business unit of Veeam, builds secure, simple, and powerful backup storage for Veeam customers, engineered with Absolute Immutability to deliver true ransomware-proof protection. Our Zero Access architecture ensures no one can alter or delete backup data, providing cyber resilience by design. We are a fast-growing team driven by innovation, clarity, and meaningful impact. We are looking for a Director of AMER Channel & Field Marketing who will be responsible for designing and executing marketing programs across the Americas that support our sales strategy and business goals. This role will drive brand awareness, strengthen engagement with distributors and partners, accelerate growth through our partner network, and generate end-user demand to build a healthy bookings pipeline across the region. You will work closely with the global Object First Marketing team, as well as regional Channel and Sales leadership, to identify campaigns, messaging, events, and full funnel strategies that enable channel sales in the region.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of marketing experience, preferably in high-growth technology companies, ideally within the cybersecurity, storage, or enterprise software industry. Veeam experience is a strong plus.
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of building, developing, and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of growth, channel, and field marketing, with the ability to develop strategies that drive business growth.
  • Experience executing full-funnel marketing programs, including digital campaigns, events, partner marketing, and channel initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of distributor and VAR business models, with experience building partner ecosystems, enabling partner teams, and executing through-partner marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and cross-functional project management skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external teams.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Marketo, CRM and marketing automation platforms; experience with partner enablement tools such as Impartner is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%, both domestically and internationally.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute an integrated AMER marketing strategy that combines locally tailored programs with global campaigns into a unified go-to-market approach.
  • Lead a team of regional channel and field marketers across multiple geographies, supporting the Sales and Business Development organization.
  • Partner with regional Sales leadership to understand target customers, partners, and go-to-market priorities, ensuring marketing plans align with regional business needs.
  • Collaborate with the Global Communications, Growth Marketing, and local PR/media agencies to develop and execute impactful in-region marketing initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with Technology Alliance Partners, distributors, VARs, and service providers to expand market reach through joint marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Plan and execute in-region marketing campaigns, email communications, events, webinars, and partner programs that drive partner recruitment, activation, and pipeline growth.
  • Track, measure, analyze, and report on the performance and business impact of marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Drive operational excellence by developing scalable processes, documentation, and enablement programs that support rapid business growth.
