About The Position

The Admissions Director leads the admissions process while promoting our organization to prospective students and families. The Admissions Director’s main responsibility is working with potential students and their family. That work is to determine how Faith Bible Christian School can both fit into the family’s life and at the same time determine how the family can fit into the Faith Bible Christian School community. In addition, the Admissions Director will work at improving the admissions process as needed to help our organization grow. To create a smooth pathway between student, family, Administration, teachers and staff. The Admissions Director is highly motivated, outgoing, has a proven track record in sales or enrollment & admissions and has a firm understanding of marketing through social media and other advertisement methods to promote the school to the local community. Experience in the education industry is a plus, and a passion for education is a must! The Admission Director must have strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to build relationships with families and the ability to maintain those relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Provide information regarding the school to prospective candidates and their families through personal interaction, tours of campus, social media, direct communication and interactions with other local schools both public and private.
  • Guide families through the admissions’ process from initial inquiry through the final enrollment step.
  • Establish timely follow-up with inquiries.
  • Provide the Superintendent with updated prospect lists (bi-monthly) of potential student candidates and contact information, along with status of enrollment process.
  • Plan and implement marketing events to attract potential candidates to the school and provide an opportunity for the family to experience what the school has to offer.
  • Coordinate and implement recruitment efforts—advertising, direct mail, Internet, social media, and events to promote the school and its programs.
  • Develop relationships and visit area schools and churches to encourage a partnership in mission-minded objectives. These relationships will also include business and community groups.
  • Work with the administration to develop retention efforts and identify areas of the school program that need to be improved for the purpose of maintaining enrollment.
  • Develop promotional materials to aid in the duties listed. Provide materials to the school office personnel to use as tools to distribute to potential school families.
  • Serve on the Admin Team, reporting directly to the Superintendent.
  • Provide statistical data and reports documenting enrollment trends, numbers, and projections to aid in the development of long-term goals.
  • Maintain social media, website, and promotional videos to promote school events, activities, student engagement, and recruiting efforts.
  • Ensure that branding and images are consistent with current school standards and reflect the mission and vision of the school as a whole.
  • Promote school spirit, unity, and positive environment through events and activities that enhance the school programs and opportunities.
  • Aid in the development of Faith Bible facilities and fundraising goals to expand school offerings.
  • Additional areas of responsibility may be added at the discretion of the Superintendent to enhance admissions efforts.
