About The Position

The Director of Admission Marketing and Communication serves as the lead architect on all marketing and communication initiatives aimed at promoting Tulane to prospective students, families, and counselors. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Admission for Undergraduate Programs and in close consultation with the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Dean of Admission, the Director will execute a strategic marketing and communication unit designed to fuel undergraduate enrollment and position Tulane as one of the most influential universities in the world. Tulane University combines the reach and reputation of a leading research institution with the distinctive energy of New Orleans. From its Uptown campus, Tulane has grown into one of the nation's most selective universities, bringing together an intimate undergraduate experience, five thriving undergraduate schools, and Division I athletics in one of the world's most recognizable cities. For the next Director of Admission Marketing & Communication, that creates an exciting platform: a university with strong brand recognition and a compelling story, paired with the opportunity to shape how prospective students, families, and counselors experience Tulane throughout the enrollment journey. Tulane's commitment to expanding college access is also reflected through initiatives including Louisiana Promise and the Louisiana Center for College Access. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for a creative, data-informed marketer who can translate Tulane's story—and the experience of living and learning in New Orleans—into campaigns that inspire action. You'll lead a team of 5+ professionals, collaborate with a broader team of admission officers, and partner across the university to build an integrated marketing and communications strategy that strengthens brand awareness, generates prospective student interest, and supports undergraduate enrollment goals. As a senior member of the Undergraduate Admission leadership team, you'll have influence across the full enrollment funnel, from the first interaction with a prospective student through the decision to enroll.
