About The Position

Stream Data Centers is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Director of Accounting to join our dynamic team. As the Director of Accounting, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of our operations while supporting our diverse portfolio that spans major markets. This position requires a forward-thinking leader who can navigate the complexities of accounting within our fast-paced industry and support our vision of providing exceptional service to our clients.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in the internet or technology industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining accuracy in financial reporting.
Proficient in Netsuite, Microsoft Excel, and treasury management systems with the ability to adapt to new technology quickly.

MBA or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

Responsibilities

Oversee all accounting operations, including the preparation and review of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury management.
Interpret and implement new technical accounting standards as needed.
Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency across the organization.
Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support corporate financial planning and decision-making processes.
Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for financial improvement.
Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
Manage the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit experience.
Assist with the design, implementation and monitoring of internal controls and ensure adherence to corporate governance and accounting standards.
