The Director of Accessibility & Student Inclusion is responsible for the overall functioning and performance of Maryland University Integrative Health (MUIH) student accommodation and case management, providing day-to-day leadership and direction with respect to policies, practices, systems, and operations. The Director of Accessibility & Student Advocacy is tasked with supporting students experiencing complex challenges impacting their lives. The Director of Accessibility & Student Advocacy works to connect students to both on and off-campus resources that meet their specific needs, provide advocacy and help in working with faculty and staff and in navigating campus procedures, and encourages the development of student coping skills, resiliency, and self-advocacy. The Director will be responsible for being highly organized, a strong communicator, and avid campus collaborator.
