About The Position

As a Director on the National Foundation Partnerships team, you will manage and grow a high-impact portfolio of institutional funders. You’ll serve as the primary relationship and grant manager for multiple partners – owning proposals, reports, compliance, and day-to-day engagement – while collaborating with executive, programmatic, and regional teams to deliver an exceptional funder experience. Alongside portfolio management, you’ll lead cross-team special projects to strengthen our prospect pipeline and support complex, high-stakes partnership. This role requires strong judgement, sharp writing, and the ability to move quickly in a dynamic fundraising environment. Reporting to the Head of Foundation Fundraising and Partnerships, you’ll join a virtual team of principal-gifts fundraisers located across the country. This person is ideally based in the Bay Area or Seattle – where TFA has a concentration of current and prospective partners – and can integrate themselves into the local philanthropic community, while staying connected to the national landscape.
