Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing or related field is required.
  • Exceptional written, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders, including the Foundation Board of Directors, family members, media, and community leaders.
  • Ability to engage and connect with various audiences.
  • Strong organizational and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Motivated leader who can inspire and guide staff and volunteers.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and tools.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master's Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operations, strategy, and fundraising initiatives essential to our mission-driven leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with the Chapter's CEO and serve on the Agency's Executive Management Team.
  • Develop and implement the foundation's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Manage fundraising operations and lead fundraising efforts.
  • Supervise dedicated staff and volunteers.
  • Ensure the distribution of funds aligns with both legal requirements and the intent of our community and donors.
  • Act as a key ambassador and advocate, forging strong relationships with stakeholders, grantees, donors, and the broader community to enhance nonprofit advocacy and stakeholder engagement.
