About The Position

Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in Memory (DRAM / 3D NAND) process and integration. Interprets internal or external technical challenges and identifies key requirements, based on customers’ high value problems in memory device. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.

Requirements

  • 15+ years work experience in 3D NAND device or related area.
  • Functional Knowledge: Recognized as “guru” or external expert in a function.
  • Demonstrates broad and comprehensive expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques and/or technologies for memory technology.
  • Business Expertise: Influences internal/external business and/or regulatory issues that have an impact on the business.
  • Leadership: Leads highly visible multidisciplinary project teams or initiatives; provides thought leadership.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identifies and solves the most complex problems; uses ground-breaking methods to think beyond existing solutions.
  • Impact: Impacts business direction through the development of innovative services or products.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Negotiates with senior management, customers, regulators or vendors to influence decisions.

  • DRAM /3D NAND integration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Understands customers’ memory device technical roadmap and identifies key technical challenges in DRAM and/or 3D NAND memory development.
  • Provides leadership and direction through managers for assessing existing and potential markets.
  • Demonstrates broad and comprehensive understanding of technical and business environments.
  • Develops and articulates strategies to meet business objectives for a broad functional area.
  • Accountable for the performance and results of cross functional groups within a business to integrates products into a coherent portfolio of products focused on the market.
  • Manages portfolio like a “product” (business plan, positioning, buying process, market requirements, and marketing plan).
  • Analyzes market data to identify trends/opportunities, develops strategic direction from market information, and creates compelling market analysis presentations.
  • Directs and controls the activities of a broad function area and provides guidance to personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
  • Drives the growth process.
  • Maps the needs within targeted markets and analyzes abstract market segmentations.
  • Determines which segments to actively pursue.
  • Works with management team to ensure that overall marketing function is effectively meeting the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Creates a product strategy that is integrated with AMAT products.
  • Illustrates the vision and key phases of deliverables for a broad functional area.
