About The Position
Ford is undergoing a significant Supply Chain Transformation, with a key focus on optimizing the planning and execution of its global logistics network and proactively managing customs, duty, and tariff regulations. This role is critical to ensuring supply assurance for Ford's products. The Director – Material/Vehicle Logistics & Customs IT will be responsible for the end-to-end strategy, delivery, implementation, and maintenance of digital products that support Ford's global supply chain. This includes driving solutions for inbound material logistics, finished vehicle logistics, intralogistics (movement of parts/vehicles within Ford facilities), and customs compliance. Functional areas encompass network planning, transportation management, end-to-end visibility, yard/compound logistics, global trade compliance, and integration with warehouse management capabilities.
Requirements
- Experienced, strategic, and hands-on Director.
- Experience in Material/Vehicle Logistics & Customs IT.
- Ability to own end-to-end strategy, delivery, implementation, and maintenance of digital products.
