About The Position

As our Director, Marketing, you will lead high-impact marketing initiatives that amplify brand presence, drive traffic, and occupancy, and enhance customer engagement across our multi-family housing portfolio. Reporting to the Vice President, you will play a critical role in shaping our brand voice, supporting leasing efforts, and delivering measurable results. This role is perfect for a marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. By aligning marketing initiatives with our values and revenue goals, the Director of Marketing will contribute to building vibrant, thriving communities where residents feel at home.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience (must have 2+ years of experience in multi-family), with expertise in online advertising, brand management, and lead generation.
  • Strong copywriting skills and a proven track record of creating compelling digital and print content.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO, SEM, and user experience principles for effective website optimization.
  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of dynamic marketing campaigns from ideation to execution, owning results at every stage.
  • Develop and deploy a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, boost community engagement, and drive leads to our website and leasing offices.
  • Create and oversee engaging content across all channels—including websites, social media, email, and property-specific materials—to enhance the customer journey.
  • Optimize property websites for SEO and user experience to improve lead generation.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations to align marketing strategies with revenue and leasing objectives, enhancing lead quality and traffic.
  • Coordinate the production and distribution of marketing materials, ensuring brand standards are met across all digital and print collateral.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with industry partners, agencies, and vendors.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key marketing metrics, delivering insights and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Manage the marketing budget, making allocation recommendations to maximize impact and ROI.
