As Marketing Director, EMEA, you'll lead ViCentra's European marketing function across all current and future EMEA markets, driving commercial success for the Kaleido hybrid closed loop insulin patch pump system and its associated digital health ecosystem. You'll build and execute pan-EU marketing strategy, develop a high-performing team of country and functional marketing managers, and ensure brand and commercial consistency across Germany, France, and the Netherlands. With ViCentra actively preparing market entry into Europe you'll be central to the company's growth agenda, shaping how Kaleido reaches new patients and healthcare providers across Europe. This role calls for an exceptional blend of strategic vision, people leadership, and hands-on commercial marketing execution in medical device and digital health.

Requirements

10+ years of progressive marketing experience in MedTech, medical devices, or digital health, including at least 5 years at senior/director level.
Demonstrated experience leading EU multi-market marketing functions, ideally within insulin pump, AID, CGM, or diabetes care.
Proven track record building and developing high-performing marketing teams across multiple countries and cultures.
Experience with new market entry strategy and execution in EU healthcare markets, including reimbursement and distributor commercial models.
Deep understanding of HCP and patient marketing in Type 1 diabetes or a closely adjacent therapeutic area.
Strong digital marketing credentials across CRM, SEO/SEA, social media, email, and data analytics.
Budgetary management experience: planning, tracking, and optimising multi-market marketing spend.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
Fluency in English; proficiency in German, French, or Dutch is a strong plus.
Willingness to travel internationally up to 40%.

Responsibilities

Own and execute the annual EU marketing strategy for the Kaleido system, aligning market-specific plans across Germany, France, The Netherlands, and pipeline markets.
Lead integrated marketing campaigns spanning HCP, patient, and payer audiences, ensuring alignment with global upstream strategy, the product roadmap, and regulatory timelines.
Lead, coach, and grow a team of EU marketing managers, recruiting new country leads as part of our market expansion.
Safeguard brand consistency across EU markets, overseeing pan-EU assets, HCP and patient content, digital presence, and ViCentra's presence at key congresses (ATTD, EASD).
Provide strategic direction to country Marketing Managers, ensuring well-resourced local plans and overseeing market entry in new markets.
Serve as the senior marketing point of contact for distribution partners (PSADs, Mediq, Spezimed), aligning country activity with Market Access and Sales.
Own the EU digital marketing strategy, website, SEO/SEA, CRM, email, and social, including a Direct-to-Consumer plan across markets.
Track EU market and competitive intelligence, turning insights into strategic recommendations for the VP Global Marketing and senior leadership.
Own and optimise the EU marketing budget, defining and reporting on KPIs for brand awareness, HCP reach, congress ROI, digital engagement, and pipeline contribution.
Partner cross-functionally with Global Marketing, Product Management, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Market Access to ensure compliant, evidence-based, launch-ready marketing across the EU.
