About The Position

The Director of Logistics & Order Management is responsible for leading end-to-end order fulfillment, global logistics operations, and third-party distribution partnerships. This role oversees the full order-to-cash lifecycle across wholesale and eCommerce channels, ensuring operational excellence, inventory accuracy, and best-in-class customer service. This position reports to the Chief Operations Officer and is a hybrid role based out of our headquarters office in Laguna Beach or Century City, CA.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain operations, preferably in consumer products or high-growth environments
  • Proven leadership in managing 3PLs, transportation networks, and order management systems
  • Strong knowledge of ERP, WMS, EDI, and eCommerce platforms (e.g., NetSuite or similar systems preferred)
  • Advanced analytical and reporting skills, including proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
  • Experience with contract negotiation, RFP processes, and vendor management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full order lifecycle from order receipt through fulfillment and shipment across wholesale and eCommerce channels
  • Lead warehouse and distribution operations through 3PL partners, ensuring service levels, accuracy, and cost efficiency
  • Manage relationships with global 3PL providers, including performance reviews, KPI tracking, and contract compliance
  • Ensure seamless system integration across ERP, WMS, EDI, and customer platforms to enable efficient order flow
  • Monitor EDI compliance, resolve violations, and manage chargeback mitigation processes
  • Oversee customer onboarding and logistics setup to ensure efficient and scalable operations
  • Direct global transportation strategy across parcel, LTL, ocean, and air freight
  • Ensure carrier performance, capacity planning, and cost optimization across all regions
  • Lead RFPs, contract negotiations, and vendor selection for logistics and transportation partners
  • Monitor shipping performance, delivery timelines, and cost metrics to ensure best-in-class service
  • Establish and track KPIs such as order fill rate, accuracy, processing time, and on-time delivery
  • Support forecasting and budgeting processes with operational insights and historical performance data
  • Analyze trends and identify opportunities to improve service levels and reduce costs
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement SOPs across logistics, fulfillment, and partner operations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline processes and eliminate inefficiencies
  • Drive automation and system enhancements to reduce manual intervention and improve accuracy
