The Local Media Director sits at MHQ as a member of the US Media team and is a close partner to the US Field Marketing group, US Marketing Strategy team, and local marketing agencies. The Local Media COE establishes media strategies integrated with the system plan, coordinates media planning across the US system, and works with the marketplace on behalf of the system. In this role, you will contribute to these priorities by leading and developing a team of media experts, influencing the Local media strategy across 10 Field Offices and McDonald’s owned restaurants, collaborating with our Local Media agencies, and developing Local media priorities across campaigns and channels based on overall best practices, historical learnings, and media marketplace expertise. You will also connect National & Local marketing through annual planning, Local Agency system touchpoints, and collaborate on one-system plans, lead media education initiatives across the system, develop and oversee digital, data and modernization efforts across Local & National initiatives, and partner with Owner/Operator groups as a Media subject matter expert.
