As a Director, Learning & Development Design, you will lead the strategy, vision, and execution of modern learning design across the enterprise. This role sits at the intersection of instructional design, learning experience innovation, and emerging technology, shaping how Target builds critical skills and capabilities at scale. You will lead a team of designers and partner closely with business leaders, HR, and learning teams to translate enterprise priorities into innovative, high-impact learning solutions. This includes integrating AI-enabled learning experiences, advancing design standards, and building scalable, engaging solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. This role requires deep expertise in instructional design, learning technologies, and human-centered design, along with a strong point of view on how Generative AI and digital tools can transform how learning is created and experienced.
