About The Position

The Director, Integrated Marketing and Operations leads the Integrated Marketing Center of Excellence for the American Osteopathic Association and its innovation arm, AOIA. This role is responsible for advancing modern go to market strategy, product marketing, and campaign orchestration for the AOIA product portfolio, and the oversight of operations for the Center of Excellence and performance frameworks and integrates emerging marketing capabilities on behalf of the team. Embedded within the Marketing and Communications in-house agency team, the Director serves as a strategic partner to AOIA. The role ensures marketing strategies, campaign execution, and performance measurement are aligned with organizational priorities and delivers measurable outcomes. The Director provides leadership and enablement for a network of integrated marketing professionals across the organization by establishing best practices, campaign frameworks, shared tools, and operational processes that elevate marketing effectiveness across all business lines.

Requirements

  • Minimum of ten years of experience in integrated marketing, go to market product strategy, digital marketing, or marketing operations with a track record of leading multi-channel campaigns and marketing initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience developing integrated marketing strategies that align business goals, audience engagement, and measurable performance outcomes.
  • Proven ability to lead cross functional marketing initiatives within complex or matrixed organizations.
  • Strong understanding of marketing operations including campaign management, marketing automation, CRM integration, and performance analytics.
  • Experience developing audience segmentation and lifecycle marketing strategies across digital channels.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with digital marketing and analytics tools including WordPress, Google Analytics, SEO and SEM platforms, CRM, and marketing automation systems such as Feathr, Pardot, HubSpot or similar technologies.
  • Experience using design and content development tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or another related field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement GTM strategy and integrated marketing plans for AOIA products, programs and services, grounded in KPIs and organizational priorities.
  • Collaborate with program owners and marketing and communications department colleagues to align messaging, timelines, performance benchmarks, and self-service models across initiatives.
  • Oversee the integrated marketing strategy center of excellence comprised of peer-level marketing and junior marketing specialists
  • Ensure consistent performance, process workflows, analytics, and reporting of KPI’s for each business line
  • Support and promote collaboration with the other marketing portfolios supporting other business lines, ensuring strategic needs are prioritized
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts, IT, marketing, and communications peers responsible for corporate communications and reputation, and content and brand strategy to ensure alignment between integrated marketing strategies, brand narrative, and reputational communications.
  • Oversee relationships with external agencies, consultants, and partners.
  • Manage and execute email marketing campaigns using automation tools, segmentation, and performance optimization.
  • Lead organic and paid digital marketing strategies across channels such as Google Ads, LinkedIn, and social platforms, ensuring alignment with program goals and ROI expectations.
  • Envision and manage compelling marketing content strategies and action plans tailored for various formats including web, social media, email, and collateral.
  • Work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy, tone consistency, and brand alignment
  • Maintain and update AOIA’s existing website with fresh, relevant, and user-focused content.
  • Collaborate with external developers (as needed) to support user experience, SEO optimization, and accessibility standards and support internal users in a self-service best practices model.
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign and channel performance using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and email metrics.
