Director - Inpatient Services
About The Position
Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director - Inpatient Services has administrative and operational responsibility for assigned departments. This includes management of cost and finance, human resources, operations, quality of care and clinical outcomes, patient, physician and staff satisfaction, change management, and other relevant responsibilities. The Director serves as part of the management team and Shared Governance Model, promoting the mission, vision, and values of PHC and Nursing Professional Practice. The role embraces a person-centered philosophy, promotes patient- and family-centered services across the continuum, and enhances value-driven outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- At least 7 years of nursing experience, including 3 years of progressive management experience.
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or an NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field preferred.
