We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Lead, Enterprise Compute Virtualization Platforms to join our Infrastructure Engineering team. This role is in NY/NJ. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Lead and manage teams responsible for enterprise compute virtualization platforms and services. Define and execute strategy for virtualization technologies across on-premises and hybrid infrastructure environments. Oversee design, implementation, lifecycle management, and optimization of virtualization platforms. Ensure platform availability, resiliency, capacity, and performance meet business and operational requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred
- 12-15 years of diverse experience in multiple areas of information technology required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with significant experience in compute and virtualization platforms.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience, including managing managers and technical teams.
- Deep expertise in enterprise virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere/ESXi, Nutanix, OpenShift virtual infrastructure management, clustering, HA/DRS, and related ecosystem tools.
