About The Position

Undergo a three-month training period to ultimately provide the overall supervision and management of the total operation of a school-age program.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field with 12 to 18 ECE credits, 6 of which must meet the “staff member in charge" criteria, plus 2 years direct experience in early childhood.
• An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may substitute for degree.
• Must also have management and supervisory experience.
• Bring I-9 documents and highest form of education to the event.

Responsibilities

• Maintains center compliance with Federal, State, Local licensing standards, grant requirements and agency standards.
• Serves as liaison between center staff and agency administration.
• Maintains all center records and reviews, approves and submits all reports as required.
• Administers agency fee collection process.
• Develops curriculum plans and overall program schedule.
• Maintains budget controls and manages the appropriate use and care of program facilities and equipment.
• Hires, orientates, monitors and evaluates center’s staff.
