Director II Finance
About The Position
The Director II Finance will be responsible for financial oversight of multi-region business unit. Works closely with all levels of the regional and corporate accounting, cost and budget, and reporting and analysis areas to insure the integrity of the financial results of the business unit. Requirements
- Requires a BA/BS in accounting or finance and minimum of 8 years experience in accounting, financial reporting, business analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic and tactical planning within a health insurance/managed care environment which includes prior management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Nice To Haves
- MBA, CPA, CMA, FSA, and/or CFA preferred.
- Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish
Responsibilities
- Oversees financial reporting process including coordination with all regions and corporate office.
- Reviews, analyzes, reports, and presents financial results.
- Provides decision support for business unit President and senior management teams operational and business goals.
- Oversees overall budget, forecast, and cost allocation processes.
- Provides visible sponsorship and guidance for major change initiatives.
- Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.
