About The Position

The Director of Analytics provides leadership and operational oversight for an analytics team serving a defined domain within UVM Health — either Medical Group Analytics or Hospital Analytics. This role serves as the primary analytics executive partner for senior clinical, operational, and administrative leaders within their domain. The Director is responsible for ensuring a high-functioning operating model that delivers accurate, timely, and actionable analytics, enforces data governance expectations, and ensures strong quality assurance processes are embedded in all team deliverables. The Director works in close partnership with IT leadership and clinical informaticists to coordinate on Epic builds, application upgrades, and new Epic feature adoption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, data management, or related field.
  • 3+ years of leadership or management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with Epic Cogito tools and Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
  • Experience partnering with clinical, operational, and administrative senior leaders.
  • Experience working with IT and informatics teams on EHR builds, upgrades, or analytics integration.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Health Informatics, Data Science, Public Health, or Business Administration strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in agile product delivery preferred.
