Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 3-5 years of previous comparable experience

Responsibilities

  • In support of PR/Marketing’s community relations goals, provide educational programs at seven hospital campuses.
  • Build and maintain relationships within the Methodist Health System as well as the community and aging resource providers, to ensure current, in-depth knowledge of services and key events.
  • Identifies key stakeholders (individuals and groups) within the aging community and leverages those relationships in services for the benefit of Methodist Generations members.
  • Ensure inclusion of strategic service line priorities of the health system as components for health and educational programs for the older adults in the community.
  • Responsible for the production of direct mail, e-newsletter, and website content of all programs provided through Methodist Generations as aligned with PR/Marketing’s communications strategies.
  • Create partnerships and serve on task forces within Methodist Health System, as well as federal, state, local agencies, and community groups and organizations as aligned with Methodist Health System’s Mission and Consumer Health Needs Assessment.
  • Plan and implement budget
  • Direct and supervise staff and volunteers
  • Other duties as assigned
