About The Position

The Director: Growth Marketing (Americas) is Syspro’s growth engine for its largest and highest-priority market. This is not a traditional marketing role. This is a revenue-obsessed, pipeline-first, market-maker position built for someone who moves fast, thinks BIG and differently, and knows how to create noise in a crowded mid-market ERP landscape. Americas is where Syspro must win and win decisively, and this role exists to make that happen. Reporting directly to the CMO and operating as a peer to the SVP Sales (Americas), this Director owns the full growth marketing mandate: new logo acquisition, expansion pipeline, competitive displacement, and long-term brand presence in North and Latin America. With a 6-to-12-plus-month enterprise sales cycle, the pipeline must be built now, with urgency, precision, and creativity. The role leads a high-impact tiger team comprising a Guerilla Marketing Specialist, a Lead Development Rep (LDR/BDR), and an autonomous Agentic AI Sales Development Rep (SDR), a true digital worker operating at scale for nurture, outreach, and pipeline acceleration. This Director leverages Syspro’s global Marketing functions (Events, Webinars, Partner/Channel Marketing, Product Marketing, Comms, PR, Brand, Analyst Relations, and Creative) as force multipliers, while owning the Americas strategy end-to-end. As Syspro modernizes its platform and accelerates its AI capabilities across the product, this role is critical to translating that product momentum into market momentum, a stronger voice, a bigger brand, and a pipeline that proves sustained growth to investors and the Board. This role is located in Chicago. Applicants within commuting distance of Chicago will be considered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications in digital marketing, ABM, AI tools, or revenue operations. Demonstrated ongoing learning in Agentic AI and marketing technology.
  • 10+ years in growth marketing, demand generation, or regional B2B marketing within a technology company.
  • 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Sector experience in manufacturing and/or distribution, with genuine understanding of how mid-market operators run their businesses, make buying decisions, and evaluate technology partners.
  • Background marketing SaaS or ERP solutions in North or Latin America, with direct experience competing against mid-market ERP players such as Epicor or Acumatica.
  • Hands-on experience with ABM platforms, marketing automation, CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce), and AI-powered sales and marketing tools. Proven ability to configure, deploy, and optimize Agentic AI workflows in a live commercial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive Syspro’s Americas growth marketing strategy, with relentless focus on new logo pipeline, competitive displacement, and expansion revenue. Set bold pipeline targets, define regional go-to-market priorities, and build an always-on prospecting engine, in tight partnership with SVP Sales (Americas). Think 12-to-18 months ahead. Build now for 2027.
  • Build and run a high-velocity, high-creativity demand engine across North and Latin America. Deploy integrated campaigns, targeted ABM, digital and paid media, guerilla tactics, field events, and partner activations that generate measurable, high-quality pipeline. Personally show up at industry events, user groups, advisory boards, and customer forums where mid-market manufacturing and distribution buyers are making decisions.Source, secure and retain industry influencers who guide and act in Syspro’s interestsin the market and internally, bringing thought leadership and presence.
  • Operate as a true revenue partner to Americas Sales leadership. Align marketing investment directly to pipeline stages, deal velocity, and close rates. Be present in the sales process. Know the deals. Accelerate them.
  • Lead competitive intelligence and market analysis for North and Latin America, with particular focus on displacement opportunities against Epicor, Acumatica, and other mid-market ERP players. Shape sharp, differentiated positioning that resonates with manufacturing and distribution buyers evaluating their next 10-year platform decision.
  • Orchestrate and activate the Agentic AI SDR as a true autonomous team member, overseeing its deployment for personalised outreach, lead nurture, and pipeline progression at scale. Drive the integration of AI-powered marketing workflows across the full buyer journey, setting the standard for how Syspro operates as an AI-native marketing function.
  • Activate channel and partner marketing across the Americas in collaboration with the Global Partner/Channel Marketing function, turning resellers, distributors, and technology partners into active pipeline contributors, not passive conduits.
  • Manage the Americas marketing budget with commercial rigor, making fast, data-driven investment decisions that prioritize pipeline yield. Report pipeline contribution, campaign effectiveness, and growth KPIs to the CMO and senior leadership, including Board-level readiness.
  • Expand Syspro’s TAM presence and brand voice in the Americas. Move Syspro from a known quantity among existing customers to a recognized, sought-after name among the mid-market manufacturing and distribution buyers who have never heard of us, and should have. Challenge category conventions. Create new conversations.
  • Leverage global Marketing functions (Events, Webinars, Product Marketing, Comms, PR, Brand, Analyst Relations, Customer Creative Design) as force multipliers for Americas programmes, ensuring global resources are deployed with regional intent and maximum local impact.
