Director, Global Partner Ecosystem Development

Hyland,
$198,000 - $226,000Remote

About The Position

The Director, Global Partner Ecosystem Development is responsible for defining and executing a global strategy to build a high-quality, scalable partner ecosystem that supports Hyland's growth objectives. This role goes beyond recruitment — it ensures the ecosystem has the right partners, in the right places, with the right capabilities to deliver and scale. Success requires translating strategy into disciplined execution across regions, building repeatable systems for scale, and making deliberate tradeoffs that prioritize ecosystem quality, coverage, and long-term performance over volume.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in partner programs, recruitment, or ecosystem strategy within a global B2B environment
  • Proven leadership of distributed, high-performing teams with the ability to develop and elevate regional and segment leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to translate broad strategy into disciplined, measurable execution at scale across multiple regions and partner types
  • Strong cross-functional leadership experience with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across Sales, GTM, Marketing, and Product
  • Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to distill complexity into clear, decision-oriented messaging

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience working with SI, OEM, and BPO partner ecosystems across multiple global regions
  • A track record of building scalable systems, frameworks, or operating models that are adopted and executed by others
  • Strong business and financial acumen tied to partner-driven growth, revenue pipeline, and overall business performance
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity, making sound decisions with incomplete information while balancing competing priorities
  • Experience with ecosystem capacity planning across healthcare and other key vertical markets

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve a global partner recruitment strategy aligned to growth priorities and ecosystem gaps — establishing target partner profiles, qualification standards, and coverage priorities that translate into regionally executable plans with clear success measures.
  • Lead global ecosystem capacity planning and recruitment execution through regional leadership across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, setting vertical capacity priorities including healthcare and ensuring the right mix of SI, BPO, and OEM partners to meet market, delivery, and growth requirements.
  • Lead and develop regional and segment leaders responsible for partner ecosystem capacity and recruitment execution, setting clear direction, priorities, and performance expectations tied to ecosystem impact and business outcomes.
  • Design scalable operating rhythms, processes, and management mechanisms across the global function — ensuring the function is measurable and aligned to the full partner lifecycle, from selection through readiness.
  • Communicate strategy, performance, and risks to senior and executive stakeholders with clarity and precision, presenting recommendations in a structured, decision-oriented manner that positions partner recruitment as a driver of partner-led growth.
  • Own function outcomes including partner selection standards, capacity priorities, and coverage models — making high-impact ecosystem investment and expansion decisions with sound judgment across competing priorities and ambiguous situations.
