About The Position

The Director, Global Health Outcomes, joins ViiV Healthcare’s Global Health Outcomes function and leads the design and delivery of robust, decision-relevant evidence for an assigned portfolio of HIV treatment and prevention medicines, both in clinical development and on the market. The role shapes integrated health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) and value evidence strategies across real-world evidence (RWE), clinical outcome assessments (COAs), evidence synthesis and economic modelling. Working with research and development, medical affairs, market access, commercial teams and external stakeholders, the Director develops evidence plans that address decision-makers’ needs. The role sets a forward-looking COA and patient-centred outcomes strategy, embedding differentiated endpoints that demonstrate meaningful value to patients, clinicians, payers and healthcare systems. It ensures medicines are supported by scientifically credible, high-quality evidence that meets regulator, health technology assessment (HTA) body and payer requirements. Evidence generated informs product positioning, value propositions, value-based pricing, patient access, appropriate use and commercial success. The role requires strong scientific judgement and the ability to lead and influence in a complex matrix environment. The role reports to the Senior Director, Global Health Outcomes, ViiV Healthcare.
