About The Position

Thea Pharma Inc. is seeking a driven and strategic Director of Marketing, Glaucoma, to support and grow our Glaucoma Franchise. This role combines strategic brand leadership while responsible for day-to-day brand management, tactical execution, performance analysis, and cross-functional coordination to drive commercial success. The Director of Marketing, Glaucoma will report to the Waltham office 3 days a week. Ophthalmology experience is not required. We are looking for a strong pharmaceutical marketer with a track record of execution excellence, analytical thinking, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced specialty environment. This role reports to the Head of Marketing and partners closely with Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Compliance, and Operations.

Requirements

  • 10 years of relevant experience including at least 8 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or related field
  • Proven track record of developing and executing strategic marketing plans for branded products
  • Demonstrated experience driving commercial success including product launches
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, cross team collaboration, and presentation skills
  • Travel up to 35% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support development and execution of annual brand plans with Glaucoma marketing team
  • Lead and support tactical implementation of promotional materials, digital campaigns, speaker programs, and sales tools
  • Ensure consistent and compliant messaging across all customer touchpoints
  • Manage agency and vendor relationships to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Monitor key performance metrics (NRx, TRx, market share, distribution, access trends)
  • Analyze field feedback and market data to identify opportunities and challenges
  • Recommend tactical adjustments to optimize performance
  • Support forecasting and budget tracking and analysis
  • Partner closely with Sales to ensure strong execution and pull-through
  • Collaborate with Market Access on payer messaging and reimbursement tools. Including HUB service maximization
  • Work with Medical, Regulatory, and Legal to ensure compliant content development
  • Support training initiatives and sales meetings with impactful brand materials
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing marketing team
  • Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture that encourages innovation and accountability within the marketing team
  • Support and manage marketing budget allocations for assigned tactics
  • Track program ROI and report on effectiveness
  • Ensure timelines and deliverables are met across multiple initiatives
