This role is responsible for prospecting and qualifying conversion franchise opportunities in KY, OH, TN, and WV for specific brands. Requirements

  • Extensive sales experience
  • Hotel franchise development experience
  • Proven achievement in sales by exceeding quotas
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Hotel conversion experience
  • Aptitude to evaluate pro-forma and feasibility studies for conversion projects
  • Excellent judgement in evaluating opportunities for the company
  • A desire to travel
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • A valid Drive’s License
  • Must have demonstrated proven achievement in sales by exceeding quota
  • Required to travel approximately 80% of time (4 out of 5 days per week). Travel will be predominantly focused on lead generation and customer relationship management in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and qualification of conversion franchise opportunities in KY, OH, TN and WV for the Baymont, Wingate, Dazzler Select and AmericInn brands.
  • Negotiation of deal terms and Property Improvement Plans.
  • Execution of hotel franchise agreements.
  • Relationship management and attendance at industry events.
  • Submittal of Forecasts and general reporting.
  • Prospecting and Qualifying Deals
  • Networking/Industry Event Attendance
  • Negotiate Terms and Execution of Contracts
  • Manage Relationships
  • Forecasting/Reporting
  • Assisting other members of development team on special projects
  • Maintaining in-depth knowledge of major purchase/sale transactions, activities of debt and equity, providers and other hospitality related trends within the US
