About The Position

Azurity is growing and standing up a new Franchise Analytics and Execution function within Commercial Operations. The Director, Franchise Analytics and Execution will shape the data strategy and analytical capabilities that underpin commercial decision-making across the Azurity portfolio. This role leads primary and secondary analytics at the national and subnational levels, owns data infrastructure and vendor relationships, and partners closely with brand teams, field leadership, and Finance to translate data into actionable insight — including contributing analytical inputs into the commercial forecasting process while pioneering the use of AI tools — including Claude and other LLM-based platforms — to accelerate reporting, modeling, and insight generation. This role blends the traditional forecasting and secondary-analytics ownership of the function with a mandate to modernize how the team works, using AI to compress reporting cycles and unlock more self-service, decision-ready output for brand and field teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in analytics, statistics, business, or a related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of commercial analytics experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences.
  • Deep expertise in secondary data assets — IQVIA (LAAD, DDD, NPA, NSP), Symphony, specialty pharmacy data.
  • Working knowledge of commercial forecast model inputs and assumptions; direct forecast ownership is not required.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, decision-ready insights for executive au-diences.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and data governance programs.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with brand, finance, and field leadership stakeholders.
  • As part of the application, candidates must provide a de-identified case study or work product (e.g., a forecast model, BOD/QBR reporting package, or performance dashboard) demonstrating their analytical approach, modeling rigor, and ability to translate data into an executive narrative.
  • A demonstrated use of AI/LLM tools (such as Claude) along with prompts utilized and prompting approach to enable enhanced output, time to value, and a QC process to vali-date the AI.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of primary and secondary analytics programs supporting the full Az-urity specialty portfolio at national and subnational levels.
  • Own the commercial data strategy, including IQVIA data asset management, vendor relationships, and data governance standards.
  • Develop and maintain BOD and QBR performance reporting packages, ensuring accuracy, timeli-ness, and executive-ready presentation.
  • Partner with Finance and brand teams to provide analytical inputs and assumption support into the commercial forecast and annual brand planning cycles.
  • Evaluate, pilot, and scale AI and LLM-based tools (e.g., Claude, Claude Code, Claude in Excel) to automate recurring reporting, QC checks, and dashboard generation.
  • Design AI-assisted workflows that speed up forecast scenario modeling and turn raw data into first-draft executive narratives for review.
  • Build and maintain subnational analytics frameworks, including territory-level performance, HCP-level activity, and market share reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance analytical infrastructure, including automation, data visualiza-tion, and self-service reporting capabilities.
  • Manage external data vendor relationships (IQVIA, Symphony, specialty distributors), including contract scope, data delivery, and ongoing rationalization.
  • Collaborate with IC & Field Strategy on targeting, segmentation, and call norm analytics.
