About The Position

Adventist Health Tillamook is seeking a qualified and dedicated finance leader to join their team as a Director, Finance. This full-time, onsite role involves assisting with accounting, budgeting, reimbursement, and administration, while ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of departmental operations. The position requires developing and maintaining budgets, revising policies and procedures, managing staffing, overseeing quality assessment/improvement, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory bodies. The Director will supervise and direct the activities of assigned personnel, utilizing professional discretion and independent judgment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Five years' experience: Preferred
  • Five years' leadership experience: Preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree: Preferred
  • Seven years' experience: Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assists with accounting, budgeting, reimbursement and administration.
  • Ensures the effectiveness and efficiency of all departmental operations.
  • Develops and maintains budgets, revises policies and procedures, staffing, quality assessment/improvement, and ensures compliance with all regulatory bodies e.g., state, federal, and joint commission.
  • Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.
  • Analyzes and identifies any trends that affect quality of services, implements corrective plan of action including new or modified programs, additional training or any measure to improve quality.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of annual budget for the department.
  • Collaborates with leadership to ascertain training and education needs and to develop education goals for the workforce, partners and customers.
  • Contributes to development and implementation of overall programs/activities.
  • Prepares and analyzes various financial reports for internal and external purposes.
  • Ensures that payroll processes are timely, accurate, and in accordance with all applicable labor laws and organization policies.
  • Develops and maintains standard performance reports.
  • Serves as a resource agent for departmental personnel, providing guidance, feedback, and problem-solving strategies.
  • Implements progressive discipline and accurately documents all information.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
