Director Finance Operations
About The Position
This role will provide financial leadership to create and protect value in the Americas Region, particularly for the US/CA Franchise Operations, Key Accountabilities, and Key Metrics. The Director of Finance Operations will shape and enable the delivery of the Americas Franchise strategy through strong financial leadership, partnering with the Franchise Performance Support Organization to ensure funds and resources are deployed effectively to drive required results. This role will also enable and help shape the delivery of the Americas Finance strategy through function leadership, lead the delivery of effective and appropriate support to Americas Franchise to drive improvement in business performance through direct and indirect reports, deliver analysis of metrics to shape key business decisions, investments, and strategic projects, and recruit, lead, and develop a high performing team of Finance Business Partners.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of progressive work-related Hotel operations Finance experience, with preference for operations & franchising experience
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, driving strategic change, and challenging & communicating with senior leadership in a complex matrix organization
- Strategic, analytical, and influencing skills to sustain high impact relationships with key stakeholders for delivery of results
- Ability to effectively balance delivery of short term results with stewardship of the business and sustaining longer term competitive advantage
