About The Position

As the Director, Finance – Office of the CFO you will help ensure that every touchpoint is meaningful and contributes to our mission of redefining the possibilities in healthcare. This leader will be accountable for leveraging data-driven intelligence to drive operational excellence across Ensemble Health Partners. This role oversees developing, implementing, and maintaining various data and analytic solutions in a customer-friendly manner. The Director will assist in setting operational priorities/objectives and will be responsible for tactical and strategic analytic efforts. The role requires a strong background in healthcare analytics, demonstrated commitment to improving net patient revenue, proven experience driving operational efficiency, and the leadership capabilities to hire and lead a team of talented professionals to continuously advance Ensemble Health Partner's position as an analytics leader in healthcare.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in healthcare management/administration or equivalent experience
  • CPA/CFA preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare analytics with a focus on clinical and operational performance
  • 5+ years of leadership experience
  • Demonstrated advanced usage of AI and the management of teams using AI to lean into process and technological improvements, to include the exploration, experimentation, and application of AI.
  • Knowledge of healthcare delivery systems, financial/reimbursement issues, and medical center/medical staff organizations
  • Proficiency in Epic
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Power BI
  • Exhibits executive presence and comfortably works with executives at all levels
  • Demonstrates emotional intelligence while recognizing the needs of others
  • Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with ability to clearly and succinctly convey information and ideas
  • This is a remote position; however, candidates must be willing and able to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs dictate.

  • Directs the creation of data-driven solutions (dashboards and reporting tools) to strengthen enterprise analytics; evaluates market trends and competitive analytics to inform organizational decision-making.
  • Directs the advancement and implementation of analytics and AI solutions to measure, monitor, and benchmark net patient revenue performance across the enterprise; provides strategic leadership in establishing key performance metrics.
  • Serves as a strategic partner to senior executives and operational leaders to align data, analytics, and AI capabilities to organizational priorities.
  • Provides consultative leadership to operational executives, facilitating data-driven decisions and operational excellence; serves as a trusted advisor on analytics strategy and implementation across the organization.
  • Establish cross-functional partnerships and collaborations to ensure analytics solutions address complex business needs; oversee integration of diverse data sources to create comprehensive insights and drive meaningful outcomes.
  • Liaise with clients and their financial staff to effectively ingest and analyze data, ensuring accuracy and relevance; serve as a critical contributor in advising clients based on data analysis results, providing actionable insights and recommendations to drive business decisions.
  • Builds, leads, and mentors a high-performing team of analytics professionals; establishes departmental goals and objectives, evaluates performance, and fosters professional development and succession planning.
  • Oversees recruitment, retention, and development strategies for analytics talent; establishes a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and excellence within the department aligned with organizational values.
  • Establishes service excellence standards and accountability measures; ensures consistent delivery of trusted, timely, and high-impact analytics solutions to stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • May be required to perform other job-related duties as requested.
