Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, Certified Healthcare Facility Manager or equivalent work experience
  • Business Administration major/area of concentration
  • Working knowledge of OHSA requirements, CMS/TJC requirements, State of Ohio fire code, and EPA regulations required
  • De-escalation training within 6 months.
  • 5-7 years Management experience in a Facility Operations

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of OSHA 30-hour course
  • 5-7 years Management experience in a healthcare or hospital setting

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of existing facilities and infrastructure including preventative maintenance, capital renewal, and capital improvement projects.
  • Development of strategic and operational goals specific to the department.
  • Overall life-cycle project management with responsibility to provide expertise, coordination, direction, and oversight on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ensures compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC), NFPA/NEC, OSHA, Life Safety Code, and other regulatory agency requirements, as well as following Adena Health System policies.
