Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience in ERP and enterprise technology, including at least 5 years supporting a retail or omni‑channel NetSuite environment.
  • Experience supporting E‑Commerce, Wholesale, and Retail P&Ls, with the ability to structure ERP reporting accordingly.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and Order‑to‑Cash and Procure‑to‑Pay processes.
  • Prior people‑management experience, with responsibility for mentoring and developing junior team members.
  • Experience managing both business‑as‑usual and project budgets.
  • Proven success leading cross‑functional initiatives with measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Engagement with NetSuite user groups and awareness of new solutions; NetSuite certifications a plus.
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and communication skills.
  • Ownership‑driven leader who seeks efficiency, challenges the status quo, and presents practical options to deliver results.
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Technology, Finance, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the NetSuite platform and its integrations end‑to‑end, including roadmaps, enhancements, upgrades, and scalability planning.
  • Define and maintain the enterprise technology landscape across ERP, Shopify, POS, EDI, APIs, marketing platforms, inventory systems, analytics tools, and third‑party applications, with customer experience as a core consideration.
  • Provide oversight of core IT infrastructure and end‑user computing, including networks, hardware, identity and access management, security, device management, and desktop support models.
  • Establish and maintain standards for system architecture, data integrity, security, documentation, governance, and operational support.
  • Ensure technology solutions enable the business efficiently while maintaining appropriate controls and reliability.
  • Lead cross‑functional initiatives spanning Finance, Operations, Technology, and Commercial teams.
  • Manage the full delivery lifecycle: business case development, prioritization, scope definition, resourcing, execution, testing, rollout, and post‑implementation optimization.
  • Apply structured project and program management practices including milestone tracking, risk management, dependency management, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Translate business needs and initiatives into sequenced technology solutions with defined ownership and measurable outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and improve business processes through effective use of technology.
  • Challenge outdated processes, manual work, and fragmented workflows that limit scalability or efficiency.
  • Design solutions that reduce operational friction, improve accuracy and timeliness, and support business growth.
  • Improve access to trusted, well‑governed data across teams while maintaining appropriate security controls.
  • Develop standardized reporting, dashboards, and KPIs that provide consistent visibility into financial, operational, and commercial performance.
  • Enable self‑service reporting and analytics to reduce ad‑hoc requests and improve decision‑making and accountability.
  • Evaluate AI and automation capabilities across ERP, analytics, integrations, and core business processes.
  • Identify and prioritize practical, value‑driven AI use cases such as forecasting support, anomaly detection, reporting automation, and process optimization.
  • Assess cost, data readiness, complexity, risk, and expected ROI to support informed decision‑making.
  • Coordinate training and change support to ensure effective adoption of new tools and capabilities.
  • Oversee enterprise integrations including Shopify–NetSuite, POS, EDI, APIs, and third‑party applications.
  • Manage vendor and partner relationships and review technology contracts impacting scope, pricing, SLAs, security, IP, and renewals.
  • Act as business owner post‑signature, ensuring vendors deliver agreed outcomes on time and within budget.
  • Develop business cases and track post‑implementation ROI tied to cost reduction, productivity gains, and revenue enablement.
  • Own and manage the IT and ERP operating and project budgets.
  • Evaluate financial implications of delivery and contract models (fixed fee vs. T&M, licensing tiers, usage‑based pricing).
  • Reduce technical debt and improve operational leverage through system and process improvements.
