About The Position

The Director, Enterprise Project Management Office leads delivery of FirstEnergy’s Business Transformation portfolio and reports to the VP of Business Transformation. The Director leads a team of Project Specialists and is accountable for the portfolio’s project management methodology, stage-gate governance, delivery health reporting, and resource scheduling across concurrent initiatives. The role builds project management capability across Business Transformation and the wider enterprise, and advises leaders when delivery performance indicates work should be rescoped, resequenced, or stopped. Travel to territory work locations is required as needed. Participation in storm restoration or emergency response duties may be required. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. The role contributes to Business Transformation strategy, portfolio governance, and capability planning as a member of the leadership team. FirstEnergy describes its culture as dedicated to integrity, safety, reliability, and operational excellence, and emphasizes a safety-first approach to transformation work.
