About The Position

Alkami is seeking a Director of Enablement to build and lead the enablement infrastructure for a modern revenue organization. This role reports to the VP of Revenue Operations and will own the entire enablement ecosystem, including programs, processes, content, training rhythms, and operating mechanisms. The goal is to enhance the productivity and measurable revenue impact of customer-facing teams. The Director will translate Alkami’s sales methodology and process into a durable enablement system covering methodology, onboarding, product training, manager coaching, stage discipline, competitive readiness, and repeatable field execution. The ideal candidate possesses strong fintech fluency, creative problem-solving skills, and a methodical operating style, capable of transforming ambiguity into structure and simplifying complex processes to improve seller confidence, leadership consistency, and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in enablement, revenue operations, sales operations, product marketing, or related go-to-market roles.
  • Meaningful experience in fintech, SaaS, or digital banking.
  • Strong understanding of fintech and digital banking environments, including complex buying processes, integrations, compliance considerations, and value articulation.
  • Proven ability to design, build, and own scalable enablement programs and infrastructure that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience building product enablement in close partnership with Product and Product Marketing, including training for new products, product updates, competitive positioning, and launch readiness.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional go-to-market teams and influencing senior stakeholders across Revenue, Product, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, actionable guidance.
  • Demonstrable proficiency with AI tools and workflows, including clear examples of how AI has been used to improve enablement, training, content creation, productivity, or go-to-market execution.
  • A creative but methodical operator who can build structure, prioritize well, and execute with consistency in a fast-moving environment.
  • Comfort operating as a player-coach in a lean environment, balancing hands-on execution with team leadership and program ownership.
  • Experience using data, systems, and operational metrics to improve program effectiveness and guide decision-making.
  • Prior people leadership experience, including coaching and developing high-performing team members.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the US for full-time employment.

Responsibilities

  • Own Alkami’s Enablement Strategy: Build and lead the enablement strategy aligned to company growth priorities, sales motions, product evolution, and scaling infrastructure.
  • Own the enablement ecosystem: including program design, training architecture, content strategy, enablement cadences, and operational mechanisms.
  • Define how Alkami’s sales methodology and process are integrated into onboarding, training, pipeline inspection, forecast discipline, deal execution, and manager coaching.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations and senior revenue leaders to identify performance gaps and prioritize enablement investments.
  • Operate as a player-coach, balancing program design with hands-on execution.
  • Operationalize Sales Methodology and Process: Embed sales stages, MEDDPICC, mutual action planning, business case development, economic buyer alignment, and paper process discipline into the field operating model.
  • Build role-based playbooks, talk tracks, stage exit criteria, inspection frameworks, and readiness assets for consistent team execution.
  • Improve clarity around forecast categories, opportunity progression, and qualification.
  • Drive Field Readiness and Productivity: Design and run onboarding and continuous learning programs to reduce ramp time and increase field effectiveness.
  • Address current product training gaps by building a stronger product enablement motion in partnership with Product and Product Marketing.
  • Lead enablement for major launches, new motions, packaging changes, and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with Product, Product Marketing, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to translate complex information into actionable guidance for sellers and leaders.
  • Build AI Enablement Capabilities: Shape and operationalize AI enablement tools for employees to self-enable more effectively.
  • Identify and drive AI-enabled workflows to increase efficiency in content creation, training reinforcement, knowledge discovery, coaching, and execution.
  • Translate new AI capabilities into practical adoption programs, usage guidance, and best practices.
  • Bring demonstrable experience using AI in business settings and foster a culture of practical AI adoption.
  • Build Scalable Systems and Measurement: Create processes, assets, and measurement frameworks for scalable enablement with rigor and accountability.
  • Establish KPIs for enablement effectiveness (ramp time, productivity, win rates, adoption, stage conversion, forecast quality).
  • Ensure enablement is integrated with systems like Salesforce, LMS/content systems, and other workflow platforms.
  • Lead a High-Impact Team: Manage and develop one enablement team member, building the foundation for a scalable function.
  • Set a high bar for quality, clarity, accountability, and business impact within the enablement organization.
