Director, Enablement

SyndioHome, WV
$195,000 - $230,000Remote

About The Position

This is a role for someone who thrives on turning complexity into clarity — and on building systems that scale. You'll bring together two functions central to Syndio's next stage of growth: Enablement, which makes every GTM seller effective. You'll do both in an increasingly AI-powered, human-in-the-loop operating model, putting scalable resources and AI tooling into the hands of the field so value selling and productivity never depend on a single expert. You won't do it alone, and you won't be building from scratch. A Sr Manager, Enablement reports to you and owns much of the day-to-day program delivery and field readiness. You'll lead that person — setting strategy and coaching them to run the enablement calendar and execution. You'll evolve an established enablement foundation into a value- and AI-forward function. You'll partner across Sales, CX, Marketing, Product, Pricing, and Finance, and work hand-in-hand with the wider GTM team shaping how AI and tooling show up for the field.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in revenue/sales enablement, value engineering or value consulting, or GTM strategy, including leading value-selling programs in enterprise B2B SaaS.
  • Experience managing or developing others– you know how to set direction for a small team, delegate execution, and stay accountable for outcomes.
  • A proven track record building sales onboarding, ramp, and certification programs that shorten time-to-productivity.
  • Experience running product and feature launch enablement, and partnering with Product Marketing to roll out messaging and positioning to the field.
  • You've built ROI and business-case frameworks and tooling that non-specialist sellers actually use.
  • You've applied AI in a GTM or enablement context – conversation intelligence, AI coaching/roleplay, guidance tooling, or agents – with a governance-first, human-in-the-loop mindset.
  • You're fluent in a formal sales methodology (MEDDPICC preferred) and know how to operationalize it.
  • Strong business acumen
  • You're a systems thinker who sees the whole before redesigning any part and a builder energized by creating what doesn't exist yet.
  • You communicate with clarity and directness, and turn complexity into action, not more process.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the modern GTM stack (Salesforce, Gong, pricing and enablement tooling) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and multiply a team. Own the strategy while your Sr Manager, Enablement drives execution — you'll coach and grow that person and scale the function's impact.
  • Build and run structured onboarding and certification that gets new GAPs, AEs, SEs, and ADRs to productivity fast, with clear, measurable ramp milestones.
  • Own a repeatable calendar of core sales training and skills development — discovery, qualification, objection handling, and competitive positioning — plus go-to-market readiness for every new product and feature launch.
  • Govern the sales content and collateral system — playbooks, pitch decks, one-pagers, and battlecards — as a single source of truth that stays aligned to current messaging.
  • Define the value-selling methodology and the ROI and business-case tooling behind it.
  • Shape how AI shows up across the field lifecycle — and where humans stay in the loop — bringing the field's requirements and feedback to RevOps and driving adoption as the team moves from static content toward real-time, deal-specific guidance and AI-accelerated business cases that a human reviews before they reach a customer.
  • Partner with RevOps to define and drive adoption of scoped, governed GTM agents (think account-brief and deal-prep) with explicit human approval gates, defined permissions, and clear success metrics, setting the standard for how AI shows up in our GTM org.
  • Embed MEDDPICC across training, tooling, and call scoring, and use conversation intelligence to surface coaching themes managers can act on.
  • Instrument enablement and value programs against activity, capability, and business outcomes, and defend the investment in leadership and board reviews. This function's fingerprints will be on ramp time, win rate, and expansion.
