About The Position

Havasu Regional Medical Center is seeking a Director of Emergency Services (RN) to lead their Emergency Department. This role is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the department, managing staff relations, monitoring budgets, and fostering an environment of professional growth and evidence-based practices. The Emergency Department handles a variety of cases, including high-acuity trauma and seasonal surges, and the director will guide the team while maintaining a culture of camaraderie and support.

Requirements

• Current Arizona RN license
• Bachelor of Science (BSN) from an accredited nursing school
• Emergency Department nursing experience
• BCLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• TNCC certification
• Handle with Care certification

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree (nursing or relevant field) preferred
• Proven leadership experience in the Emergency Department preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the Emergency Department.
• Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
• Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
• Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
• Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
• Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
• Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
