Customer 360 is on an accelerated transformational journey to operate in its North Star state as Amex’s enterprise-wide Customer Master Data Management (MDM) capability — positioning customer data as a strategic enterprise asset. C360 unifies and governs customer information across products, services, and channels globally, creating trusted linkages that connect relationships, identities, and interactions across the ecosystem. Through scalable, reusable platforms and world-class data governance, C360 is building the foundation for a connected enterprise by enabling Amex to engage customers with clarity, consistency, and confidence. We are seeking a strategic thought leader and problem solver to serve as Director, C360 Entity Governance & Integrity (B40) will lead a cross-functional governance team responsible for instituting and executing the enterprise Governance Framework across Customer ID (Individual), Business ID (Commercial Location), and Obligor ID (Legal Entity) as well as the demographics data (being the SOR) within Customer 360 (C360). This role will establish and operationalize a comprehensive control environment covering probabilistic and deterministic matching, linkage reliability, monitoring standards, methodological governance, and appropriate use oversight. The incumbent will ensure alignment with Non-Model Tool (NMT) standards, Model Risk Management principles, AEMP 70, 79 Data Governance requirements, Operational risk management framework, issue management and enterprise Change Management policies and support incident management. The objective is to proactively identify, assess, measure, monitor, and mitigate linkage-related risks while creating a structured feedback and communication loop for senior leadership (ORCC / CRMC) and key stakeholders. The team will provide enterprise-wide oversight across risk assessments, linkage quality, methodological assumptions, data dependencies, manual overrides, and downstream impact management.
