About The Position

The Role AspenTech is looking for a Director of Digital Experience to own and evolve the company's web presence across corporate, product, and customer-facing properties. This role reports to the VP of Marketing and sits at the intersection of brand, lead generation, user journeys and technology, working cross-functionally with Marketing, IT, Product and customer-facing organizations. The right candidate has done this before in a B2B environment, knows what it takes to run a web program at scale, and is comfortable operating where strategy meets execution.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in digital marketing, web strategy, or digital experience, with at least 3 years leading a team
  • Proven experience managing large-scale website programs, including agency relationships and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong command of CMS platforms, SEO, and web analytics
  • B2B Expertise: Deep understanding of the B2B buyer journey, ideally within industrial software, AI, or high-tech sectors
  • Fluency in both marketing and technical conversations, you'll need to earn trust on both sides
  • Bachelor's degree required

Responsibilities

  • The end-to-end digital experience across AspenTech's corporate website, microsites, and customer portals
  • A dedicated web team, providing day-to-day leadership, direction, and development
  • The relationship with IT Applications, translating marketing needs into technical requirements and vice versa
  • Web performance: traffic, engagement, conversion, and lead quality, tracked and reported with rigor
  • The roadmap for UX improvement, informed by analytics, A/B testing, and direct user research
  • Digital brand expression, ensuring AspenTech's positioning is reflected consistently across all web properties, including a cutting-edge digital presence in AI
  • Owning the full user journey across digital properties, from first visit to conversion, and ensuring every touchpoint reflects the brand with clarity and purpose.
  • Translating web analytics into prioritized action, leading a roadmap of UX and content improvements, and building the scalable infrastructure that supports demand generation at a global scale.
  • Serving as the primary point of accountability for digital performance metrics, bringing regular reporting and strategic recommendations to Marketing leadership.
