About The Position

Delan Associates is seeking candidates for Business Intelligence Systems Management opportunities in the Florida State Area. The posting describes multiple roles in this job family; the first listed role is Director, Data Warehouse. The Director is responsible for enterprise-wide architecture, design, development, and maintenance of data warehousing and data mart systems and services. The role works with customers strategically to identify opportunities to use these systems to improve business processes, promote strategic use of information technology, and help the workforce use technology as a competitive tool. It establishes enterprise-wide data warehouse standards to support compatibility and integration across multi-vendor platforms and ensures organizational balance and system coherency between front-end desktop/client environments and back-end processing. The Director provides corporate leadership, vision, and direction for data warehouse systems in support of business objectives. Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 10 years of IT and business/industry work experience.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams and projects and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders.
• Experience in strategic planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale integrated relational database systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the enterprise-wide architecture, design, development, and maintenance of data warehousing and data mart systems and services.
• Work strategically with customers to identify opportunities to use data marts and data warehouse systems to improve business processes and promote effective use of information technology.
• Establish enterprise-wide data warehouse standards that ensure compatibility and integration across multi-vendor platforms.
• Maintain organizational balance and system coherency between front-end desktop/client environments and data warehouse back-end processing functions.
• Provide corporate leadership, vision, and direction for data warehouse systems in support of enterprise business objectives and requirements.
