About The Position

Delan Associates is seeking candidates for Business Intelligence Systems Management opportunities in the Orlando, Florida area. The Director, Data Warehouse is responsible for the enterprise-wide architecture, design, development, and maintenance of data warehousing and data mart systems and services. The role works with customers to identify strategic opportunities to use data warehouse technologies to improve business processes, promote strategic use of information technology, and enable the workforce to use technology competitively. It establishes enterprise-wide data warehouse standards to support compatibility and integration across multi-vendor platforms, maintains organizational balance and system coherence between front-end desktop/client environments and back-end processing, and provides corporate leadership, vision, and direction in support of business objectives. The posting also provides descriptions and qualifications for nine additional Business Intelligence Systems Management roles: Manager, Data Warehouse; Business Intelligence Architect; Data Warehouse Analyst; Data Warehouse Administrator; Manager, Decision Support; Decision Support Specialist; Decision Support Administrator; Manager, CRM Technology; and Knowledge Engineer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 10 years of IT and business/industry work experience.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience managing multiple large cross-functional teams and projects and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders.
• Experience in strategic planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale integrated relational database systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct the enterprise-wide architecture, design, development, and maintenance of data warehousing and data mart systems and services.
• Work with customers strategically to identify opportunities to use data marts and data warehouse systems to improve business processes and enable effective use of information technology.
• Establish enterprise-wide data warehouse standards that ensure compatibility and integration of multi-vendor platforms.
• Maintain organizational balance and system coherence between front-end desktop/client environments and data warehouse back-end processing.
• Provide corporate leadership, vision, and direction for data warehouse systems in support of enterprise business objectives and requirements.
