About The Position

The Director, Data Warehouse is responsible for the enterprise-wide architecture, design, development, and maintenance of data warehousing and data mart systems and services. The role works with customers strategically to identify opportunities to use these systems to improve business processes, promote strategic use of information technology, and enable employees to use technology as a competitive tool. It establishes enterprise-wide standards to ensure compatibility and integration across multi-vendor platforms, maintains coherence between front-end client environments and back-end processing, and provides leadership and direction for data warehouse systems in support of business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 10 years of IT and business/industry work experience.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience managing multiple, large cross-functional teams and projects and influencing senior management and key stakeholders.
• Experience in strategic planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale integrated relational database systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall architecture, design, development, and maintenance of enterprise data warehousing and data mart systems and services.
• Work strategically with customers to identify and maximize opportunities to use data warehouses and data marts to improve business processes and promote effective use of information technology.
• Establish enterprise-wide data warehouse standards that support compatibility and integration across multi-vendor platforms.
• Ensure organizational balance and system coherence between front-end desktop/client environments and back-end data warehouse processing.
• Provide corporate leadership, vision, and direction for data warehouse systems in support of enterprise business objectives and requirements.
