Requirements

  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable experience driving Net Revenue Retention (NRR), Gross Revenue Retention (GRR), and expansion ARR outcomes.
  • Experience building partner or referral marketing programs — including co-marketing, partner offering adoption, and marketing into a partner’s existing customer base to drive pipeline.
  • Strong expertise in marketing automation and lifecycle marketing technology applied to customer growth.
  • Experience designing ABX strategies and customer/partner segmentation frameworks that translate insight into commercial results.
  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Partnerships, and Revenue Operations.
  • A commercially minded approach with the ability to build business cases and investment strategies that connect marketing spend to measurable business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, with a track record of building and developing high-performing marketing teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in faith-based, non-profit, association, or membership-driven markets.
  • Experience with payments, fintech, or giving/donation platform adoption marketing.
  • Experience operating within a product-led growth (PLG) or self-serve commercial motion.
  • Experience marketing beyond the primary buyer to an organization’s broader user or member base (e.g., B2B2C, association, or franchise-style models) is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the In-Life marketing strategy, defining the customer growth roadmap across retention, cross-sell, upsell, renewals, and advocacy.
  • Build and scale Account-Based Expansion (ABX) strategies that increase wallet share within strategic customer accounts, partnering closely with Sales and Customer Success.
  • Own the partner marketing strategy, driving adoption of MB’s partner offerings across the customer base and building co-marketing programs that increase attach, activation, and utilization.
  • Build and manage referral partner relationships and programs, marketing MB’s services into referral partners’ existing customer and member bases to generate qualified pipeline and expand reach.
  • Own the congregant marketing strategy — designing and executing programs that market directly to congregants and members within customer churches and parishes to drive adoption of MB software and, specifically, payments and online giving solutions.
  • Own the investment strategy across customer lifecycle marketing, digital engagement, partner marketing, congregant marketing, and expansion programs, connecting spend directly to NRR, GRR, expansion ARR, and customer health.
  • Develop segmentation strategies for customers, partners, and congregant audiences using behavioral, product usage, firmographic, and technographic data to personalize journeys at scale.
  • Provide strategic direction to the Campaign Hub and partner across Sales, Partnerships, Revenue Operations, Digital Marketing, and Product to deliver integrated customer growth and partner marketing programs.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, building organizational capability in lifecycle marketing, partner marketing, and congregant marketing.
