About The Position

As the Director, Credit Structures, you are a trusted strategic advisor and client-facing credit professional responsible for delivering innovative wholesale credit solutions to Private Banking clients. Collaborating with Private Bankers, you will lead credit discovery, structuring, and completion of complex lending solutions to grow and deepen client relationships while ensuring credit and portfolio quality.

Requirements

  • University degree (MBA/CFA preferred)
  • strong lending experience with complex financial statements

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Exceptional Client Experience: Lead credit discovery to provide best-in-class credit structuring expertise, understanding client needs (market competitiveness, financial position, risk profile, etc.), and analyzing financial information. Mentor CRT members and peers to enhance credit capabilities.
  • Grow and Deepen Client Relationships: Structure competitive, tailored credit solutions for new and existing clients. Facilitate credit transactions from structuring to approval, ensuring alignment with client needs and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Ensure Credit and Portfolio Quality: Proactively manage credit renewals, monitor client risk profiles, and adhere to RBC Credit policies. Collaborate with Bankers to maintain portfolio quality metrics and resolve out-of-order items promptly.
  • Leverage Expertise and Collaboration: Partner with Group Risk Management, Tax, Legal, and other areas to enhance credit structuring capabilities. Maintain a robust pipeline of complex credit opportunities and engage in proactive marketing strategies.
