Shatterproof is seeking a Director, Corporate & Strategic Partnerships to help grow corporate investment in our mission and build strong, long-term relationships with companies committed to addressing addiction and behavioral health. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Director will be a key member of the Development team responsible for building and managing a robust corporate pipeline, cultivating new partners, growing existing relationships, and securing significant corporate revenue. The Director will manage relationships across corporate philanthropy, sponsorship, employee engagement and other strategic partnership opportunities, connecting corporate priorities with Shatterproof’s mission and opportunities for engagement. Working closely with the Vice President, Corporate Partnership Strategy & Impact, the Director will bring corporate needs, interests and opportunities into the organization while leveraging Shatterproof’s programs, platforms and engagement strategies to build compelling partnerships. The Director will maintain primary accountability for the development side of the corporate partnership lifecycle — from prospecting and cultivation through solicitation, stewardship, renewal and growth. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven fundraiser and business developer who can build a pipeline, open doors, navigate complex corporate relationships and turn shared interests into meaningful, multi-year investment.

Requirements

7+ years of progressively responsible experience in corporate partnerships, corporate fundraising, business development or a related field.
Demonstrated success securing and growing significant corporate partnerships, ideally within a nonprofit or mission-driven environment.
Strong track record of building pipelines and moving prospects from identification through cultivation, solicitation and close.
Experience managing sophisticated corporate relationships and working with senior corporate decision-makers.
Strong proposal development, presentation, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM and comfort using pipeline and revenue data to manage performance.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and translate partner interests into actionable opportunities.
Strong judgment and ability to balance revenue opportunity, partner value and mission alignment.
Ability and willingness to travel domestically.
Ability and authorization to work in the US required
Ability to work Eastern Time Zone hours required

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies to achieve annual corporate revenue goals and support sustainable, multi-year growth.
Build and manage a robust pipeline of corporate prospects, including identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation and closing.
Personally cultivate and secure significant corporate partnerships, with an emphasis on five-, six- and ultimately seven-figure opportunities.
Develop compelling proposals, presentations and partnership opportunities in collaboration with internal teams.
Lead partnership negotiations and support the development of multi-year agreements.
Maintain strong pipeline discipline, revenue forecasting and activity tracking through Salesforce.
Identify opportunities to expand corporate investment across philanthropy, sponsorship, workplace engagement and other mission-aligned opportunities.
Manage a portfolio of current and prospective corporate partners, building strong relationships with corporate decision-makers and champions.
Develop account strategies for priority partners focused on retention, renewal and growth.
Serve as the primary Development relationship manager for assigned corporate accounts.
Coordinate stewardship and engagement strategies that deepen partner relationships and demonstrate the value of their investment.
Identify opportunities to move transactional relationships toward broader, longer-term strategic partnerships.
Engage Shatterproof executives, board members and other organizational leaders strategically in corporate cultivation and stewardship.
Partner closely with the VP, Corporate Partnership Strategy & Impact to translate corporate interests and needs into compelling partnership opportunities.
Bring market intelligence and partner feedback into the development of Shatterproof’s corporate engagement strategy and offerings.
Work across Development, Impact, Marketing/Communications, P2P/Volunteer Engagement and other teams to develop proposals and relationship strategies.
Collaborate with the Strategy & Impact function to ensure partnership concepts are feasible, mission-aligned and positioned to deliver meaningful value for both Shatterproof and the partner.
Maintain clear ownership of the corporate relationship while engaging the right internal expertise throughout cultivation, proposal development and stewardship.
Lead Development efforts to secure national and multi-year corporate sponsorship opportunities connected to Shatterproof initiatives and experiences.
Identify opportunities to engage existing corporate partners more broadly across Shatterproof.
Leverage the Corporate Business Council, Just Five, workplace engagement initiatives and other organizational platforms as relationship-development and investment opportunities, in partnership with the leaders responsible for those platforms.
Identify emerging corporate philanthropy, sponsorship and social-impact trends that could create new revenue opportunities for Shatterproof.
