About The Position

The Director, Corporate Development serves as Omega’s accountable day-to-day M&A leader, creating value through disciplined inorganic growth. The role develops a consolidated view of acquisition and partnership priorities and translates Omega’s approved value-creation strategy into prioritized market maps and pipelines, high-quality transactions, and measurement of completed transactions against their approved strategic and financial theses. The Director partners with senior leadership, business leaders, the M&A Committee, Board sponsors, and financial sponsors to develop and refresh acquisition theses; source and prioritize opportunities; lead investment underwriting and recommendations; and manage transactions from initial evaluation through signing and closing. The role coordinates cross-functional diligence, manages advisers and transaction workstreams, and ensures diligence findings inform price, structure, contractual protections, integration, remediation, or a decision to walk away. Before closing, the Director ensures integration plans, sponsors, synergy owners, milestones, costs, risks, and governance are defined. After closing, the role works with integration leaders and business sponsors to track results against the investment case, conduct post-close reviews, and apply lessons to future transactions. The Director also establishes and improves Omega’s M&A operating model, governance, processes, templates, and decision rights, while handling confidential information with discretion and complying with company policies, including HIPAA and compliance requirements. The role operates in an office environment using standard office equipment, with some travel required, up to 25%. Work is generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional long hours and weekend work. The position requires prolonged desk work, frequent computer, keyboard, mouse, and phone/headset use, close visual attention to screens and documents, sustained concentration, frequent verbal communication, and occasional standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
