About The Position

The Director, Corporate & Audience Marketing is a strategic leader responsible for advancing the organization’s mission through targeted audience marketing, corporate partnerships, and non-organization-wide marketing initiatives. This role owns marketing efforts that are audience‑specific, relationship‑driven, or customized beyond the scope of large national‑facing campaigns. Reporting to the VP, Marketing, the Director develops and executes partnership‑led, professional, and special initiative marketing programs that drive organizational growth, influence key stakeholders, and extend the mission into priority sectors such as healthcare, corporate, and institutional audiences.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience leading brand, corporate partnership marketing, and complex campaign initiatives, with a strong foundation in content development, media management, and internal communications.
  • 3+ years of functional oversight
  • Proven ability to analyze metrics and marketing data to draw actionable insights, optimize performance, and drive measurable outcomes across revenue, engagement, and retention.
  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and project leadership, with experience navigating matrixed environments and leveraging tools like Asana to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building trust and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite, cross-departmental teams, and external partners.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing and data management technologies, including campaign management platforms, email marketing, and loyalty programs.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity of thought, proactive problem-solving, and fostering high-performing, inclusive teams in fast-paced, lean environments.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and performance of targeted and partnership‑led marketing initiatives.
  • Own the strategy and performance of targeted audience and non-organization-wide marketing initiatives.
  • Develop corporate and marketing strategies aligned to organizational and growth priorities.
  • Define audience‑specific mission narratives and value propositions (e.g., healthcare providers, corporate partners).
  • Identify, prioritize, and scale high‑impact partnership and special initiative opportunities.
  • Provide strategic recommendations regarding investments in partnerships and targeted programs.
  • Collaborate with the National Marketing Director to ensure consistency with national messaging and brand standards.
  • Align closely with the Corporate Engagement team to develop strategies, benefits and execute on collaborative programs and campaigns.
  • Supports marketing initiatives of the Society by expanding communication avenues.
  • Lead development and execution of co‑branded, partner‑led, and audience‑specific campaigns.
  • Manage marketing activations tied to corporate relationships, sponsorships, professional outreach, and special initiatives.
  • Customize messaging and creative to resonate with defined stakeholder groups.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless execution across channels and touchpoints.
  • This role develops national audience strategies and frameworks that may include localized components. Execution of local or market‑level tactics is led by regional marketing team, with strategic direction, messaging, and guidance provided at the national level to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
  • Define KPIs for targeted and partnership‑led initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize targeting, messaging, and timing for improved outcomes.
  • Leverage insights and analytics to refine segmentation, personalization, and testing strategies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and performance-driven culture.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback; ensure professional development plans are in place.
  • Support effective onboarding and ensure the team has the tools, knowledge, and resources to succeed.
