The Director, Corporate Accounting, leads the corporate consolidation process for the global McCormick business ensuring accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting across all business units and legal entities. The role is responsible for the preparation of consolidated Global financial results for Senior Finance Leadership (including CFO and VPs of IR, Corp FP&A, Corporate Controllership), Management Committee and other financial users. This role serves as a key finance leader supporting large integrations, with responsibility for aligning financial reporting processes, consolidation activities, accounting policies, controls and data flows. The role will support the development and execution of the integration roadmap for acquired entities into the company’s consolidation and reporting structure. The role requires partnerships with integration management, business leaders, IT, controllership, FP&A, tax, treasury, and external advisors to align acquisition-related finance activities. This role oversees complex technical consolidation matters in a multinational environment and requires a strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC related reporting matters and related control considerations. Technical matters expertise in areas such as foreign currency translation, non-controlling interests, intercompany accounting, amongst others. This role oversees team responsible for the administration and oversight of the Global corporate-wide reporting and consolidation system (HFM) including actuals, budgets, forecasts and related financial statements.
