Manage Aimbridge accounts receivable, corporate accounting, financial statement preparation and management. Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities; for OEM associates, overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly. Requirements

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 5 years of hands-on accounting managerial experience is required.
CPA certification is required.
Proficient with general ledger systems, MS Excel and other analytical tools.
Highly motivated individual that works well in a fast-paced environment.
Strong managerial and organizational skills.
Strong critical thinking/analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate technical accounting issues with senior executives and/or external auditors.

Nice To Haves

Hospitality and/or Real Estate accounting experience is preferred.
Public accounting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee the consolidated month-end close process, which includes consolidation of foreign operations, preparation of consolidated financial statements and select balance sheet reconciliations.
Ensure Company financial records are maintained in compliance with Company policies and US GAAP.
Review monthly balance sheet and income statement variance analysis of actual vs budget/forecast/prior year/prior month.
Produce monthly consolidated GAAP financial statements and supporting schedules.
Assist Finance team with financial statements and support to comply with quarterly lender reporting requirements.
Monitor to ensure that internal controls, policies and procedures are followed.
Proactively identify and implement process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.
Coordinate with Aimbridge external auditors on the annual audit of the books and records of the company.
Respond to Auditor inquiries completely, accurately and timely.
