About The Position

This role is responsible for representing and protecting Fidelity in the drafting and negotiation of various types of agreements with Fidelity’s largest plan sponsor clients. The Director of Contracts Management works with Sales, Relationship Management, Operations, Finance, Product Management, Compliance, Finance and Corporate Legal to reach the desired business goals of Fidelity, while managing legal/compliance risk for Fidelity.

Requirements

• 4-year college degree and a JD
• 5 to 6 years compliance/legal experience, preferably involving contracts negotiation and drafting
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to develop new relationships throughout Fidelity on behalf of the team
• Outstanding oral and written communications skills

Responsibilities

• Representing and protecting Fidelity in the drafting and negotiation of various types of agreements with Fidelity’s largest plan sponsor clients.
• Working with Sales, Relationship Management, Operations, Finance, Product Management, Compliance, Finance and Corporate Legal to reach the desired business goals of Fidelity, while managing legal/compliance risk for Fidelity.
• Functioning as the primary representative in the resolution of complex negotiation issues with clients and their counsel (internal and external).
• Identifying and resolving contracting issues and developing creative solutions that address client concerns and protect Fidelity.
• Developing new relationships throughout Fidelity on behalf of the team.
