About The Position

The Director, Constellis Training Center (CTC) serves as the deputy executive site lead and strategic leader for the Constellis Training Center in Moyock NC. This role serves as the deputy director for the facility and will support the Senior Director and Site Executive for strategic planning, financial performance, and long-term sustainability of the Training Center. The Director is the operations manager in charge of all facility operations, maintenance, day to day operations and runs portions of the profit and loss (P&L) centers. The Director position supports all aspects of CTC operations from communication with Constellis senior leadership, providing oversight to business unit programs that span from U.S. government, military and foreign partner training programs, to technical services and overseas operations support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, security studies, international relations, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in the defense, intelligence, or security sector, with at least 5 years in executive leadership roles with demonstrated P&L, compliance, and personnel accountability.
  • Demonstrated strategic leadership, business acumen, and governance-focused decision-making.
  • Executive-level communication and leadership.
  • Strong financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L oversight.
  • High proficiency in government contracting, regulatory compliance, and audit engagement.
  • Proven experience managing complex government contracts, including OCONUS operations and multinational or allied partners.
  • Demonstrated experience establishing controls, processes, and performance metrics for large teams.
  • Familiarity with U.S. government acquisition processes and DoD/international training standards.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
  • Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday standard core hours, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead through a clearly defined Deputy Site Lead responsible for all day-to-day operations, execution, staffing, and facilities activities.
  • Establish clear decision rights, performance expectations, and accountability frameworks for senior leaders.
  • Lead through outcomes, metrics, and results rather than tactical execution.
  • Own P&L responsibilities for the Training Center, for lodging, food service, customer support and training revenue.
  • Financial planning: budgets, forecasts, pricing strategies, and capital investment plans.
  • Oversee prioritization and funding of capital projects and long-term infrastructure investments.
  • Ensure disciplined financial management, accurate forecasting, and performance reporting.
  • Ensure Training Center facilities, ranges, training programs, align to emerging customer requirements and mission needs.
  • Manage facilities, maintenance, capital investments and improvements
  • Manage and supervise all safety, security, OSHA programs on site.
  • Manage investments in new services, capabilities, and infrastructure to drive long-term competitiveness.
  • Directly supervise all safety, security, accreditation, and regulatory expectations are met through delegated leadership structures.
